Meta Apologises for Removing PM’s Post, Centre Seeks Explanation .Meta has apologised after an Instagram post by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was reportedly removed from the platform, attributing the incident to a technical glitch.The company said the post was taken down due to an inadvertent technical error and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.The Government of India is treating the matter seriously and has sought an explanation from Meta. The Ministry has reportedly asked Meta’s Global Head of Instagram to provide details on the circumstances that led to the removal of the Prime Minister’s post.Officials said the government is examining the incident closely to ensure such errors do not recur. Meta has assured authorities that the issue was unintentional and that appropriate steps are being taken to prevent similar technical glitches in the future.
