MP Ajay Bhatt Removes Representative with Immediate Effect After Alleged Illegal Case Comes to Light
Ajay Bhatt has relieved his nominated representative from all official responsibilities with immediate effect after learning that the individual is allegedly wanted in an illegal case, according to a formal communication sent to the District Magistrate of Udham Singh Nagar.
In the letter addressed to the District Magistrate, the MP stated that Vijay Kumar, a resident of Kashipur, had earlier been appointed as his representative for quarterly review meetings related to development works of the concerned development block in the MP’s absence.
Bhatt said that information had recently come to his notice indicating that Vijay Kumar is allegedly wanted in connection with an unlawful matter. Taking cognisance of the development, the MP ordered that the representative be removed from the position with immediate effect.
The letter underscores the MP’s decision to dissociate his office from any individual facing allegations of illegal activities and reflects what observers describe as a swift administrative response aimed at maintaining the integrity of official representation in development-related proceedings.
Officials are yet to issue a separate statement regarding the nature of the case in which the former representative is reportedly wanted.
