NEET UG 2026 Result Declared: Aryan Gupta and Panshul Bansal Joint Toppers with 715 Marks
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the final results of NEET UG 2026 along with the category-wise cutoff scores. The cutoff details have been mentioned on the candidates’ scorecards.
According to the NTA, Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana emerged as the joint toppers of the examination, each securing 715 out of 720 marks.
The agency stated that 19 candidates scored above 700 marks in the examination. The top 17 rank holders with scores above 705 belong to eight states — Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.

Exam Conducted Again After Cancellation
The NEET UG 2026 examination was originally held on May 3, 2026, but it was later cancelled following allegations of a paper leak. The examination was subsequently reconducted on June 21, 2026.
Counselling Process to Begin
With the declaration of the results, the race for admission to medical colleges has officially begun. Qualified candidates will now have to participate in the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) counselling and respective state-level counselling processes for admission to MBBS and BDS courses across the country.
