The ongoing Shri Ram Katha at the Ashtadashbhuja Mahalakshmi Temple in Beri Padav witnessed a large gathering of devotees as renowned spiritual preacher Dasarathi Maharaj spoke about the immense spiritual significance of Lord Ram’s divine narrative.
Delivering his discourse, Dasarathi Maharaj said that remembering and listening to the Ram Katha with devotion and faith is the most effective means of overcoming the sufferings, sins, worldly attachments, and mental afflictions associated with Kaliyuga. He said that wherever the Ram Katha is organised, the entire locality attains the sanctity of a holy pilgrimage, with the uninterrupted flow of devotion to Lord Ram purifying the atmosphere and inspiring righteous thoughts.
He further stated that the spiritual importance of such events becomes even greater when they are held at a Shakti Peeth. Describing the glory of the Ram Katha as beyond words, he said that according to sacred tradition, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati themselves listened to the Ram Katha in the form of birds on the Nilgiri Mountain. He also referred to their visit to the hermitage of Sage Kumbhaj, where they experienced the divine essence of Lord Ram’s life.
Addressing the gathering, Mahamandaleshwar Someshwar Yati Ji Maharaj quoted the verse, “Japar Kripa Ram Ki Hoi, Ta Par Kripa Kare Sab Koi,” and said that a devotee blessed by Lord Ram finds nothing impossible in life.
The religious event was attended by Anil Agrawal, Rekha Agrawal, Pallav Agrawal, Swati Agrawal, Sunil Bansal, and a large number of devotees, who participated with deep faith and devotion.
