BJP Leader Babulal Marandi Detained Outside CM’s Residence During Protest Over CBI Probe Demand .BJP leader and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi was detained by police while staging a protest outside the Chief Minister’s residence, as the BJP stepped up its demand for a CBI probe into issues concerning the state’s students.
Marandi said students in Jharkhand have been protesting for the past 15 days, demanding a CBI investigation. He alleged that BJP leaders had gathered outside the Chief Minister’s residence to seek a meeting with the CM and urge the government to act on the students’ demands.
According to Marandi, the protesters were stopped outside the Chief Minister’s residence and subsequently detained at the Khelgaon camp jail.Reacting strongly to the detention, Marandi accused the state government of adopting an “authoritarian” approach and asserted that the BJP would continue its struggle until justice is delivered to the students of Jharkhand.The BJP leader maintained that the party would intensify its efforts to ensure that the students’ demands are addressed by the state government.
