Who Will Become Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s First CEO? 18 Candidates in Final Race

The race to appoint the first full-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has entered its final stage, with 18 shortlisted candidates facing interviews in Ayodhya.The Trust received more than 5,300 applications for the newly created post. After scrutiny and shortlisting, 18 candidates were selected for the final interview process. The selection process began on August 11 and is continuing on August 12 before the final decision is taken. A three-member panel comprising retired Supreme Court judge Justice Pramod Kohli, Lt Gen (Retd) Vishnukant Chaturvedi and former NIT Raipur director Suresh Haware is conducting Former Bureaucrats Among Key Contenders.The shortlisted pool includes experienced administrators and former senior government officials. Reports indicate that three former IAS officers, a former IPS officer and several former military officers are among those interviewed. Among the names reported to be in contention are former Ayodhya District Magistrate and former IPS officers, although the final appointment has not yet been officially announced. The CEO will be responsible for overseeing the overall administrative management of the Ram Temple affairs, making the appointment one of the most significant organisational decisions for the Trust. Selection Under Intense ScrutinyThe CEO selection has attracted considerable attention because the appointee will be expected to combine administrative expertise with an understanding of the religious and cultural significance of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple.The Trust has also reportedly assessed candidates on personal and value-based questions during the interview process, alongside their professional experience and administrative capabilities. With the final interviews underway, Ayodhya is now waiting to see who will take charge as the first full-time CEO of the Ram Mandir Trust.
