A patriotic programme was organised at the circulating area of Izzatnagar Railway Station on Sunday under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, coinciding with the commemoration of 150 years of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Veena Sinha. A band contingent from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) Training Centre, Gorakhpur, enthralled passengers and railway personnel with soulful renditions of Vande Mataram and other patriotic compositions.The musical performances filled the station premises with a strong spirit of patriotism and national pride. Assistant Divisional Security Commissioner Mohammad Aslam, RPF inspectors, off-duty personnel and passengers were among those who participated enthusiastically in the event. A dedicated selfie point was also installed at the station, where railway employees and passengers clicked photographs while expressing their support for the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
The initiative sought to promote patriotism, national unity and a sense of responsibility towards the nation, while encouraging railway employees and passengers to actively participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
