Education Minister Resigns; Sonam Wangchuk Demands Accountability and Systemic Reforms
New Delhi: Reacting to the resignation of the Education Minister, climate activist and education reform advocate Sonam Wangchuk said the move should not be treated as the end of the issue, stressing that real accountability lies in fixing the system.“Resignations alone are not enough. The education system needs transparency, accountability and meaningful reforms to restore students’ trust,” Wangchuk said.He emphasized that responsibility must extend beyond individuals to ensure lasting institutional reforms and prevent similar crises in the future.
