A solemn tribute meeting was organised at the Block Auditorium in Yamkeshwar to commemorate the life and legacy of former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and retired Major General B.C. Khanduri.
Leaders and party workers paid heartfelt tributes to the veteran statesman, recalling his decades-long contribution to the nation and public life.
Speakers described General Khanduri’s life as an embodiment of national service, integrity, discipline and commitment to public welfare. From his distinguished military career to his political journey, he left an enduring imprint through his principles, administrative approach and dedication to the people of Uttarakhand.The programme was attended by BKTC Chairman Hemant Dwivedi, BJP state executive member Manish Khanduri, Mandal President Anil Rawat, District General Secretary Naveen Rajput, District Yuva Morcha President Shanta Prasad, Mandal General Secretary Manoj Badola, Mukesh Devrani, Block Pramukh Sita Chauhan, MLA Renu Bisht, former state minister Meera Raturi, District Panchayat Member from Umroli Bachchan Singh Bisht, District Panchayat Member Pramila Baluni, and senior BJP workers Vijay Lakhera and Mahimanand Bhatkoti, among others.The participants remembered General Khanduri’s contribution to Uttarakhand and paid tribute to his enduring legacy of principled leadership and public service.
