The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a major organisational reshuffle under national president Nitin Nabin, bringing several experienced leaders into key positions in the party’s central organisational structure.As part of the revamped team, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and senior BJP leader Ram Madhav have been appointed national vice presidents. The new organisational team includes 13 national vice presidents, eight national general secretaries and 16 morcha presidents, among other office-bearers.Former Union Minister Smriti Irani has been appointed as a national general secretary, marking a significant addition to the BJP’s central leadership team.The BJP has also appointed Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb, Smriti Irani, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia as national general secretaries. BL Santosh will continue as the organisation’s national general secretary.The party has further appointed Shivprakash and Saudan Singh as national joint general secretaries.Major Changes in BJP IT and Communication Wing The reshuffle also brings changes to the BJP’s digital and communication structure. Amit Malviya has been removed as the party’s IT Cell chief, while Deepak Mhaske of Chhattisgarh has been named as his replacement.Anil Baluni will continue in his role as media in-charge. The change in the IT Cell leadership is being viewed as an important organisational development, given the growing importance of digital communication and social media in the BJP’s political outreach.The BJP’s new central team brings together leaders from different regions and political backgrounds, with the party indicating a focus on strengthening its organisational network and expanding its outreach across the country.
