A terrifying Pit Bull attack in Ghuman Nagar, Patiala, has sparked renewed concern over the safety of residents living around powerful dog breeds. CCTV footage of the incident has reportedly surfaced online, showing the animal attacking a couple who had arrived to view a rental property. According to reports, the attack began after the property gate was opened. The Pit Bull reportedly rushed out and knocked the woman to the ground, repeatedly biting her arms and legs. Her husband attempted to rescue her but was also injured in the attack.Several people rushed to the couple’s aid, using sticks and other objects in an attempt to restrain the dog. The struggle reportedly continued for several tense moments before the animal was brought under control.The woman sustained deep injuries and reportedly required plastic surgery, while her husband also suffered multiple bite wounds. The incident has intensified concerns over the keeping of aggressive or powerful dog breeds in residential areas. Safety Alert for Residents Experts caution that confronting an attacking dog without proper knowledge can put rescuers at serious risk.
