Gadwal, Telangana: A unique and unusual religious ritual involving a crocodile in Telangana’s Gadwal district has caught public attention after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
According to reports, a crocodile was spotted near the banks of the Krishna River in Beechupally, following which local priest Anil Sharma reportedly performed a religious ritual for the reptile.
The viral visuals show the crocodile lying on the ground while the priest sits nearby and conducts the ceremony. The crocodile was reportedly worshipped and prayers were offered during the ritual.The unusual incident has generated considerable curiosity among locals and social media users, with the video attracting widespread attention online.The incident reportedly took place in Beechupally area of Gadwal district, where the crocodile had arrived near the Krishna River before the religious ceremony was conducted.
