A major road accident occurred on the Sonamarg Highway in Jammu and Kashmir after a bus carrying Amarnath Yatra pilgrims reportedly plunged into a gorge near Baltal.According to initial reports, around 30 pilgrims sustained injuries in the accident. The bus was carrying approximately 50 passengers at the time of the mishap. Rescue teams and local authorities rushed to the spot, and the injured were shifted to nearby medical facilities for treatment and medical examination.Officials have launched rescue operations, while the exact cause of the accident is yet to be confirmed.
