Police authorities have initiated departmental action against a constable in connection with the AK-47 display incident reported during a protest in Siwan. The constable has been attached to the police headquarters with immediate effect pending further inquiry.Officials said the disciplinary proceedings were initiated following the incident, and a detailed investigation is underway. The department stated that strict action will be taken in accordance with service rules if any violation or misconduct is established.The police reiterated their commitment to maintaining discipline and professionalism within the force and said appropriate action would follow based on the findings of the inquiry.
