High-Tech Cameras to Be Installed at Three Locations in Badrinath Dham to Curb Donation Theft.In a major move aimed at strengthening security and preventing alleged donation theft at the sacred Badrinath Dham, high-tech surveillance cameras will be installed at three strategic locations, according to BKTC Chairman Hemant Dwivedi  the advanced camera system will help keep a close watch on activities around the temple premises and strengthen monitoring of donation-related transactions.The decision comes amid concerns over the security and transparency of offerings made by devotees at one of Uttarakhand’s most revered pilgrimage centres. Hemant Dwivedi said the surveillance network would enable authorities to monitor sensitive locations more effectively and act swiftly if any suspicious activity is detected.According to Hemant Dwivedi, the installation of high-tech cameras at three key points is part of efforts to improve security arrangements and ensure greater accountability in the management of devotees’ offerings.The move is expected to enhance surveillance during the ongoing pilgrimage season, when thousands of devotees visit Badrinath Dham every day.Hemant Dwivedi emphasised that the BKTC remains committed to ensuring that devotees can make their offerings in a secure and transparent environment. The new surveillance infrastructure is expected to provide authorities with stronger monitoring capabilities and help deter incidents of donation theft.The installation of the cameras is being viewed as an important step towards modernising security arrangements at Badrinath Dham and protecting the faith and offerings of pilgrims.
